Victor H. Diaz
Victor is a highly successful business professional with a degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University. He was born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba and immigrated with his family to Elizabeth, N.J. in 1966.
Victor has resided in Pittsburgh since August of 2000, having lived in Mexico City for three years and in Puerto Rico for seven years before that in the capacity of General Manager and Vice President for a Swiss multinational construction equipment company. When he relocated to Pittsburgh, he worked for the Dick Corporation as Director of Business Development for Mexico and the Caribbean. Victor is the founder and President VideoTek Construction, specializing in closed circuit inspection of sewer lines.
In 2011, Victor co-founded VTC Supply, a specialty hauling company servicing the transportation and construction industries.
In the non-profit arena, Victor was co-founder of the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Foundation. In 2013, Victor founded the Pittsburgh Hispanic Development Corporation, a Community Development Corporation serving the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area whose mission is to attract Hispanic investment and workforce to the region.
